The Official Start

My name is Brent and I have been a so-so CrossFitter up until now.  Well I'm ending that now.  Tomorrow I am officially going to start my hard-core kick my ass life as a CrossFitter. What does that mean?  Exercise? Nutrition? Attitude?

It means this:  no more excuses, no more skipping WoDs when I feel like it, no more cheating on my diet, no more weakness.  I am going to run a paleo-zone diet modified by lowering the carbs and upping my fat intake.  I'll be eating 18 protein blocks, 10 carb blocks, and 33 blocks of fat.  I am doing this strict paleo-zone for 10 weeks without screwing it up like usual.  Now my hope is to continue this forever but I don't yet know how going out and having a life will work in with this diet.

On to the exercise.  I am going to be a strict main site WoD guy.  I'll be doing the 3 on 1 off to perfection.  I will scale when needed using the brand X recommendations if necessary.  I will also be doing strength based training on those days.  I'll be doing a warm-up that consist of: 5-min jump roping and then I'll be following Greg Amundson's warm-up.  From there I'll move to my strength for the day.  I'll be doing 3x5, 5x3, 1x15-20 and splits like the CFSB talks about.  There will be one lift per day.  I will then do the WoD.

I'm tired of the wishy-washy-ness and it's time for a change.  I'm gonna live the life and lead by example for my clients.
